Welcome to West Northumberland Children's Centres

Children's Centres provide a range of services for families with children under 5 including:

• Drop-in sessions and other activities for children and carers
• Support and outreach services to children and families
• Child and family health services
• Information and advice on a range of subjects including: local childcare, looking after babies and young children, childcare and early learning.
• Support to childminders
• Links to Job Centre Plus

We work closely with Health Visitors, Midwives, Nursery Nurses, Childminders, Schools, Day Nurseries, Speech and Language Therapists and many others to provide services to meet the needs of families.

We have Centres in Prudhoe, Hexham, Western Tynedale (at Haltwhistle), North Tyne (at Bellingham) and Ponteland
